What if something is wrong with my order?
We strive to make sure we get every order right and that nothing gets damaged in shipping. However, we know that things can happen, so if there's any issue with your order please email contactus@cottagedoorpress.com with your order number and a description of the damaged, missing or incorrect items and you will be instructed on how to proceed.
For damaged items a photo of the product and shipping carton would also be helpful.
Do you offer discounts on large orders?
We offer wholesale pricing and free shipping if you order 24 or more total books (don't have to be the same title). If interested, please send an email to sales@cottagedoorpress.com with the details of what you'd like to order and we will take it from there.
What safety testing do your products go through?
All of our books are independently tested to meet all US and Canadian safety requirements. The testing includes, but is not limited to, ASTM, CFR, CPSC Heavy metal, phthalates, CA Proposition 65. The third-party testing reports are verified and accepted by all major retailers.
Can I have permission to read your books aloud online or in my classroom?
Thank you for your interest in reading our books! You have our permission to read our books, but we'd love to see your video once it's live so please make sure to share with us. Below please find some additional guidelines to follow for recording or posting our books:

What is the return policy?
Items ordered directly from Cottage Door Press may be returned within 30 days of the original order date.
To initiate a return, please contact us at orders@cottagedoorpress.com
with your request. Be sure to include your name, email address, phone number, and original order number. We will provide return instructions and the appropriate return address so your return can be properly processed upon receipt.
We recommend retaining your return tracking number for reference.
A full refund of the purchase price will be issued to the original method of payment once the returned items are received. Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable.
What is the average shipping time?
You should receive your order in 7-10 business days from the date the order was placed. During the busy holiday season, shipping times could be longer.
Do you offer Free Shipping?
We do offer free shipping on orders over $50.00*. At this time, we only ship in the US. On sales less than $50.00, our rate is a flat fee of $5.99 (continental US). $15 flat fee to AK and HI
