of our “reading is learning” philosophy. We are looking for a motivated Sales Coordinator to join our growing national sales and marketing team.

Job Overview
The Sales Coordinator will provide essential support to the sales and marketing team by assisting with administrative tasks, maintaining sales data, and ensuring smooth communication with customers. This role is a great opportunity to learn and grow within a fast-paced publishing environment while contributing to the success of a mission-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparing customer presentations, including creating PowerPoint decks,organizing product samples, and coordinating shipments.
  • Support data entry tasks, including maintaining customer spreadsheets and updating the
    company’s catalog system.
  • Keep track of advances received for new and reprint titles, maintain the new titles and work with the marketing team to request new photography of reprint titles for Swivel and Book Connect.
  • Manage comp requests for sales through Click Up.
  • Help manage customer item setup details and communicate updates as needed.
  • Track and monitor inventory levels, assisting in resolving stock issues and ensuring timely order fulfillment.
  •  Process weekly sales reports and contribute to monthly updates for the team.
  • Participate in retail market checks and report findings.
  • Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to address inquiries and provide updates to customers.

    Qualifications
  •  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (prior internship or work experience in sales, marketing, or customer service is a plus but not required).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with an eye for detail.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to adapt and learn quickly.
